Program Intentions

Since 1995, Mike Giardi has been putting together a wide variety of programs to give young ball players the opportunity to fine tune their skills under the guidance of professional and collegiate players and coaches.  The players will learn how to improve their game through drill work that the staff has used throughout their playing and coaching careers.  Our programs feature different teaching tools including:

Tee Work               Bunting Drills                         Sliding Drills         Throwing Mechanics

Radar Gun              Soft Toss Drills                      Fielding Work       Cage Work

All of these drills are designed to help improve a young player’s game while having fun

Facilities

Veterans Memorial Field House at Salem High School is perfectly suited for indoor baseball.  Along with an All-Purpose Gym Floor which is surrounded by various Hitting Screens and Nets, there is also a separate Small Gym.  There is also a full length Batting Cage located on the balcony as well as separate rooms for Weight Lifting and viewing films.

Tuition

Only $175.00 for non-members ($140.00 for members) for 5 days of full instruction from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  SPECIAL ONLINE DISCOUNT AVAILABLE NOW.

Health

All care and precaution will be given to each player by our on-staff trainer.  All participants must provide health and immunization records when registering.  The Hit Zone’s trainers are all certified and are qualified in CPR and First Aid.  In the past our trainers have been Courtney Oak, Lisa Dupuis, and Jen Wasylak.
